LENS

Low Energy Neurofeedback System (LENS) neurotherapy is different to our other neurotherapy services. LENS was developed by Dr. Len Ochs at Ochs Labs in the USA. LENS takes a short recording, often for one second, of brainwaves underneath an electrode. It then replays this recording to the brain at one ten thousandth the power of a quartz wristwatch. This is much less than the amount of energy emitted by a cellphone. Upon receiving this information, (basically a playback of what it has just done) the brain seems to recalibrate itself. There is research to show that it is effective for head injuries and other conditions.

LENS is being used to effectively to treat people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Asperger's syndrome, PTSD, depression, ADHD, brain injury and chronic fatigue.
